Due to a season of locks down and restrictions we have not been able to have a revival for over 12 months but last week we decided it was time to press ahead and have now just concluded our first revival for 2020 /21 with Ev Cory Bourne which exceeded our expectations. We saw people saved every service, people healed and helped and many new converts come to every service of revival.
Ev Bourne preached who he is and really connected with the people. He won their hearts with his transparency and sensitivity to the Holy Ghost in every service. He was in every prayer meeting, very relational in every fellowship and refreshingly larger than life in his preaching. People were filled and refilled with the Holy Ghost and many timely words were given. The congregation were greatly encouraged and excited when I announced we would extend the revival for an extra two nights. Some even cancelled a holiday so they could be in revival…..
One older man came in Sunday morning depressed, worried, and full of fear. By the end of the week he was saved and set free and said, I have been depressed my whole life but now I feel the depression is gone and I can't wait to get up and come to church.
The Sunday after the revival we had several of those saved come back to church and genuinely expressing interesting in locking into what God has for their lives. It was an outstanding revival that really met the need of our congregation and rekindled the flame for many. It is without hesitation that I would recommend Ev Bourne for revival. I have known him for over 20yrs and can assure you he will speak for God, love and serve people and minister with a heart for revival.
